Terms of Service** Welcome to V4WELLNESS, your premium provider of massage therapy services in Calgary, AB. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our services. By booking an appointment with V4WELLNESS, you are entering into a binding agreement to comply with and be bound by these terms. We are committed to ensuring your experience with us is seamless, relaxing, and tailored to your wellness needs.

**Booking and Appointments**

Appointments can be made online through this page https://v4wellness.ca/pricing or over the phone at 587-329-5235.  A profile in our booking system is needed to book an appointment with V4Wellness and is managed by the booking platform Square Appointments. When booking, please provide accurate contact information and any specific preferences or requirements you may have so we can personalize your session accordingly. By scheduling an appointment with V4WELLNESS, the client is giving consent to the massage therapist for treatment and agreeing to the terms of service, including Booking and Appointments, Cancellation Policy, Payment terms, Liability Waiver, and Privacy Policy outlined here https://v4wellness.ca/terms-of-service, https://v4wellness.ca/privacy-policy.  By filling out forms and wherever a signature is required, the client is giving consent to use their signature, e-signature, and all the personal information entered in any forms on paper, website, or other social media platforms. In some situations, an ID verification would be required before commencing the treatment. The appointments are booked on behalf of the client and cannot be transferred to others. The treatment is therapeutic and non-sexual, and not complying with these rules will immediately terminate the session, and no refund will be given. If you possess a medical issue that necessitates a physician's note and this has not been previously addressed with V4WELLNESS, you may be denied treatment. The client must reach out to a doctor regarding medical conditions and obtain confirmation from their physician that massage therapies, aromatherapy, and myofascial cupping are allowed. V4WELLNESS maintains the authority to discontinue treatment if there are indications that the client is affected by drugs or alcohol. In such cases, the treatment fees must be paid in full, and no refunds will be provided. The aromatherapy services provided by the aromatherapist are intended to support overall health and well-being and are not a substitute for medical treatment. By choosing aromatherapy services from V4WELLNESS, the client must understand that essential oils may have potential side effects such as skin irritation, respiratory irritation, or allergic reactions. It is the client's responsibility to check with a doctor before using aromatherapy, and V4WELLNESS shall not be responsible for any adverse effects caused by the aromatherapy service. For the Myofascial cupping service, clients should be aware that aggressive exfoliation, extreme exercise, temperature changes, and the consumption of alcohol can produce undesirable aftereffects following Cupping. Some of the possible reactions after Myofascial cupping would be Increased risk of Headache (mild dehydration, cellular debris/metabolic waste), Increased energy, Increased exhaustion, Increased thirst/Increased hunger, Change in quality of sleep, Increased local tenderness/Marking/Delayed onset marking, Increased nausea, Increased temperature and or sweating, Increased anxiety and or restlessness,  Increased itchiness, Increased mobility, Decrease in scar tissue restrictions, Increased symptoms of other conditions (period & possible flow). It is the client's responsibility to check with a doctor before using Myofascial cupping, and V4WELLNESS shall not be responsible for any adverse effects caused by the cupping massage service. By choosing V4WELLNESS for Manual Lymph Drainage, the client should understand that it is provided for the basic purpose of improving the flow of the lymphatic system and also for relaxation. If the client experiences any pain or discomfort during this session, the client should immediately inform the practitioner so that the pressure and/or strokes may be adjusted to the client's level of comfort. Because massage should not be performed under certain medical conditions, the client should affirm that the client has stated all known medical conditions and answered all questions honestly and agree to keep the practitioner updated as to any changes in the client's medical profile and understand that there shall be no liability on the practitioner’s part should the client fail to do so.Client must complete an intake form in full. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a very powerful modality, and certain medical conditions are contraindicated, which determine if or when the client can receive a session. After the consultation and review of the information the client has provided on the intake form, it will be determined if MLD should be administered to the client on the treatment day.  Some conditions will require a note from the client's doctor before proceeding, and this is for the client's safety and well-being. V4WELLNESS reserves the right to refuse, postpone or terminate treatment whenever we deem it in the best interest of one or more of the parties.MLD will not be performed if the client has acute infections, cardiac edema, acute bronchitis, acute Deep Vein Thrombosis DVT, cardiac arrhythmia, carotid-sinus-syndrome, hyper/hypothyroidism, history of stroke, Congestive Heart Failure, pregnancy, dysmenorrhea, ileus, diverticulosis, diverticulitis, aortic aneurysm, recent abdominal surgery, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, radiation fibrosis/colitis/cystitis, post DVT, unexplained pain, menstrual period.It is the client's responsibility to check with a doctor before using MLD, and V4WELLNESS shall not be responsible for any adverse effects caused by the MLD  service.V4WELLNESS has the right to refuse treatment even after booking an appointment, and in that case, any paid amount will be refunded to the same mode of payment used for booking the appointment.Our skilled therapists are dedicated to accommodating your unique needs to enhance relaxation and therapeutic benefits.

**Payment Terms**

Our Online booking platform, Square Appointments, requires the client to authorize V4WELLNESS to save their credit card on file for future purchases until the client cancels this authorization. Purchases will never be made without your approval. Saved cards can be managed at any time through your profile page. Full Payment is due at the time of the service unless pre-arranged differently. We accept various payment methods for your convenience, as listed in the booking platform Square Appointments and Stripe. Please ensure timely payment to avoid any interruptions in future services. All fees paid are final and non-refundable. The prices are subject to change without notice before booking. By booking an appointment with V4WELLNESS, clients hereby permit the use of their credit card to withdraw the treatment fees or fees for no-shows or late cancellations, which are less than 24 hours before the treatment start time. If direct billing services are unavailable due to technical difficulties or other circumstances, clients must have alternative payment methods ready to settle their treatment costs. Any treatment fees not included by insurance must be paid in full at the time of service and will be taken from the credit card used for booking the appointment. There will be no exceptions to this policy, and failure to comply may result in a ban from receiving services from V4WELLNESS. Our competitive rates reflect our commitment to providing exceptional massages by qualified professionals in the comfort of your environment.

**Massage Subscriptions**

Get unlimited massages per month for a discounted price as long as your subscription is active. To subscribe, please visit https://v4wellness.ca/pricing and use the Subscribe button. After subscribing, you can conveniently use phone booking by texting 587-329-5235 with the subscription details or book online from this page https://v4wellness.ca/pricing. The credit card statement will show V4WELLNESSCALENDLY.COM as the statement description. To update or cancel the subscription, please use the link in the receipt - Manage the subscription that you have received in your email.  Bookings are done the same as regular appointments, and the discounted prices are reflected based on your subscription status during checkout at the service location. Due to any circumstances, if we are unable to deliver the massage treatment for the paid subscriptions, the entire money will be refunded to the credit card used to buy the subscription. There are no resellers for this subscription service, and we have not assigned anyone to sell, solicit, market, or resell this service anywhere in the world.

**E- Gift Cards**

E- Gift cards for V4WELLNESS are available for purchase only through the website given here https://v4wellnessca.square.site/ and have no expiry date. There are no resellers for this gift card, and we have not assigned anyone to sell, solicit, market, or resell anywhere in the world. There is no physical gift card at this moment for V4WELLNESS services. To apply the gift card, the customer profile has to be added or linked to the booking platform used while checking out at the service location.

**Cancellation Policy**

We understand that life is unpredictable, and plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance, as this will allow us to offer the slot to another client seeking wellness benefits. The cancellation fee is 50% of the listed treatment fees, and for no-shows, 100% of the treatment fees will be deducted from the credit card used for booking. However, we understand that there are situations beyond your control (family emergency, sudden illness, etc.), so exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. Please stay home if you are sick. To cancel or reschedule the appointment, please use the booking platform or text 587-329-5235 with your booking details.

**Liability Disclaimer**

While we strive for excellence in all services provided, V4WELLNESS shall not be responsible for any injuries or issues arising from circumstances outside our control during your sessions. The client must acknowledge the release of liability and freely and totally assume all risks, damages, and hazards, including the potential for fatalities, serious injuries, and property damage and loss, by booking an appointment with V4WELLNESS. When a client schedules an appointment with V4WELLNESS, they acknowledge and consent to the fact that they are relinquishing their right to sue V4WELLNESS and its employees. By scheduling an appointment with V4WELLNESS, the client must accept that this is a voluntary agreement and that, by signing it, they intend to release themselves from all liability to the fullest extent permitted by law, which is governed by the laws of the province of Alberta, Canada. Our therapists take utmost care to ensure a safe and beneficial massage experience. Please read these terms carefully, as satisfaction with our service means agreeing to adhere strictly to this contract. At V4WELLNESS, we are committed to maintaining clear, professional, and respectful communication with all clients. Please take a moment to review the following disclaimer regarding communication practices:

1. Professional Boundaries
   All communication, whether in person, by phone, email, text, or any other platform, must remain professional and relevant to massage therapy services. Inappropriate, suggestive, or offensive messages will not be tolerated and may result in termination of the client-therapist relationship and may proceed with legal action, if necessary.
2. Response Times
   We strive to respond to messages and inquiries within 24–48 business hours. Casual messages will not be responded to, and hence please leave messages/voice messages with an objective to be fulfilled, such as booking, sales or treatment-related queries. Messages received outside of business hours, on weekends, or on holidays will be addressed during the next business day.
3. Privacy and Confidentiality
   Your privacy is important to us. All client communications and records are kept confidential in accordance with applicable privacy laws and professional ethics. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal or medical information over unsecured platforms such as text or social media.
4. Emergency Situations
   Massage therapy is a non-emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or require urgent care, please contact emergency services or your healthcare provider directly.
5. Appointment Changes and Cancellations
   Requests for appointment changes or cancellations must be communicated through our designated channels (e.g., phone, email, booking platform) and within the required notice period, as outlined in our cancellation policy. By engaging in services with V4WELLNESS, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms of this communication disclaimer.
